We selected a special site in the remote foothills of the Uco Valley to establish our vineyard. The 400 acre site is above the quiet valley town of Tunuyan on a sloping landscape that allows for maximum sun exposure, cool mountain breezes and natural water drainage. The vineyard's temperature can range as much as 16 degrees Celsius from daytime highs to nighttime lows and the soils are alluvial and stony, excellent for growing high quality wines.
